Watch live football in four steps

  1. Open RexLive in any browser on your phone, tablet, laptop, PC or smart TV. There is nothing to install.
  2. Find the match on the live board or on its league page. Matches with a play icon have a live stream.
  3. Open the match and press play once it kicks off. Your first tap is absorbed by the ad shield.
  4. Go full screen from the player controls and follow the live score and the table beside the stream.

Where the matches come from

Every few seconds, RexLive reads public live-score feeds for the day's football: teams, kick-off times, the match minute and the score. Matches are grouped by competition, with live matches first, then the ones still to come, then the results — and every match gets its own page.

That is why the live board always answers "what football is on today": it is rebuilt from the feeds all day long, for dozens of competitions from the Premier League and the Champions League to MLS and the J1 League.

How live streams are matched to matches

Live streams come from third-party providers that publish the day's streams. RexLive pairs every stream with its fixture by the two teams, even when the feeds spell club names differently — "Inter Milan" and "Internazionale", "Mönchengladbach" and "Borussia Mönchengladbach" — so the play icon lands on the right match.

RexLive does not host, record or re-broadcast any video. The stream plays from the provider, inside the RexLive player.

What happens when you press play

The player area only loads a stream while the match is live. Before kick-off you see a countdown, at half-time a half-time card, and after the final whistle the result — so nothing streams in the background and no data is used before the match starts.

When the match is live, the player sits behind a click shield that absorbs your first tap, which is the tap ad networks use to open pop-ups. The player itself runs in a sandbox that cannot open pop-ups, redirect the page or start downloads, and known ad overlays such as "Skip Ad" or "Click to Unmute" are hidden the moment they appear.

How live scores stay up to date

While a RexLive page is open, it keeps a live connection and receives score updates every few seconds. Goals, the match minute, half-time and full-time change in place — on the board, on league pages and on the match page — without reloading.

If that connection drops, the page falls back to checking for new scores every few seconds on its own, so the live score never freezes.

League tables and match odds

League tables and 1X2 match odds come from public sports data and refresh every few minutes. Each league page shows the current table next to today's fixtures, and the home page shows the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 tables in one panel. Odds are shown for information only.

Free, with no account

RexLive has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for, no password and no subscription. Matches you star are saved in your own browser and never sent anywhere.

RexLive shows no ads of its own. The only ads you could meet come from third-party stream players, and those are what the ad shield is there to stop.

How it works: questions

How does RexLive work?

RexLive reads public live-score feeds for today's football, pairs each match with a live stream from third-party providers where one exists, and shows streams, live scores and tables on one free page.

How do I start a live stream?

Open the match from the live board or its league page and press play once the match is live. Matches with a play icon have a stream.

Why does the player show a countdown?

The stream only loads while the match is live. Before kick-off the player shows a countdown to the start instead, so no data is used until there is something to watch.

Why does my first tap not start the stream?

The first tap is absorbed by the ad shield. Stream players use that tap to open pop-ups, so RexLive takes it first; tap again and the stream plays.

How does RexLive block pop-ups?

The player runs in a sandbox that cannot open pop-ups or redirect the page, a click shield absorbs the first tap, and known ad overlays are hidden as soon as they appear.

How fast do live scores update?

Every few seconds. Pages keep a live connection open and update scores in place; if the connection drops, they check for new scores every few seconds instead.

Do I need to install an app?

No. RexLive runs in the browser on phones, tablets, laptops, PCs and smart TVs.

Where do the streams come from?

From third-party providers. RexLive pairs their streams with the right fixtures but does not host or record any video.
